Not your typical day at the office...

Here's a link to explain how my day went.

My boss was one of the ones that they had lead the police around inside the building. When they asked him, along with some others, to go in the building to lead the police around before it was cleared he said "That isn't in my job description!" They basically asked him to risk his life for the company, which he did...but it turned out there was no bomb anyway.

It was a good reminder of mortality...realizing that any day at any time, any of us could die. It made me grateful I had read my scriptures and prayed this morning. It makes me think about how important repentance is, and how frequently we should do it. It also makes me think about how important it is to always show love and kindness, because we never know when it's going to be the last time we talk to someone.

At the very least it made work a little more interesting, and we had an excuse to take an hour-long break...but I would've preferred taking my break somewhere else than in the parking lot.
