In my previous post I forgot to mention one big trial that a lot of people are experiencing right now--unemployment. Yesterday when I came upstairs around 10 a.m. and saw Scott just standing there in the family room I said, "What are you doing home?" Even before the words were out of my mouth I knew he had been laid off.
Amazingly enough we both feel strangely calm about the whole thing. Not panicked like we were when he got laid off in '01. By all accounts we probably should feel panicked, but we don't. Here's hoping that means another job will come along soon. Please keep us in your prayers!!
